Must do in Québec City. Xavier was able to explain both Canada’s and Quebec’s history, while showing us the beauty and individuality of the city. Although it was the winter, he took stops in warm places and helped us to feel warm throughout the tour. Could not recommend it enough!
Par Daniela (Porto Rico) sur Airbnb (2019)Xavier was really knowlegdable and entertaining. He's knows alot about his city and know keep the attention. Lots of local jokes and insides that you'll love. Listen really well to his advice to wear warm cloths. It's also a good idea to do this tour at the begining of your trip to quebec city because Xavier gives a bunch of ideas of places to eat and visit.
Par Icare (Laval, Québec) sur Airbnb (2019)Very nice tour! Great energy and super nice attitude. He knows what he is talking about and even knows fun facts not commonly known. Sometimes I got lost because I’m not good at understanding history but Xavier did well to describe things as easy as possible. He also knows a lot about local cuisine and restaurants and his recommendations were so helpful. Thank you!
Par Sara (Montréal) sur Airbnb (2019)Xavier was a great tour guide. We had a fun two hours visiting many different sites and learning about history, culture and fascinating stories. Xavier was full of energy and it rubbed off on everyone. An excellent tour.
Par Martin (Toronto) sur Airbnb (2019)Thoughtful, knowledgeable, entertaining and friendly. He even brought little heating pads for those A little unprepared. He knows his history and his passion for it is plain. Great English and French speaking skills, I recommend, especially if you’re a fan of history.
Par Adam (Mississauga, Ontario) sur Airbnb (2019)Xavier is a really kind and funny guide, I really enjoyed his tour. I could tell that he was happy to show us the city , something that I apprecciated very much, and he also knows a lot about Québec. It was a great tour.
Par Valeria Andrea (Mexico) sur Airbnb (2019)Xavier is an amazing guide! We learned a lot about the history of the city as well as about its culture and other useful and interesting facts, especially about winter in Quebec. It was one of the best walking tours I’ve taken, it was fun and interesting, dynamic and mindful of everybody’s needs. I would definitely recommend this tour to anybody visiting Quebec City, it’s just great!
Par Maria Fernanda (Mexico City) sur Airbnb (2019)Xavier is an excellent, wonderful guide!
Xavier's winter walking tour of Old Quebec was excellent! Beforehand, he set a preparation email about how to dress so we would be comfortable in the December wind. Unlike the typical tour guide who bombards the listener with names and dates, Xavier told us interesting stories about the history and geography of this special place, setting the context with a few major turning point events around which everything happened. He engaged us with questions ("what do you think they were trading at that time?"), and personalized the Quebecois viewpoint with stories of his family. We really enjoyed our two hour tour and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn about this unique cultural and historical place.
Par Bruce I sur Tripadvisor (2019)Fantastically Interesting
Xavier, the guide, creates a well constructed tour which includes the social background of the places visited. This provides a depth not often experienced on a tour. All that said, Xavier is funny and light- hearted. Highly recommended. I wish I could be in Quebec in warmer weather to take other interesting tours that he offers.
Par ML S (Vancouver) sur Tripadvisor (2019)Winter walking tour
Xavier was very knowledgeable about the early and present day history of Quebec. We were happy to learn so much. He was great at including everyone in the conversation and remembered everyone's name and what they did..remarkable.
Length of tour was just right. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone with the physical ability to hoof uphill.Par Janice Q (Connecticut) sur Tripadvisor (2019)
