Old Quebec : Touch & Feel

When we visit a city, we mostly rely on visual perception to interpret, understand and enjoy the place. Why not using hearing, olfactive and haptic perceptions ? This walking tour is open to everyone, but primarly made for blind and visually impaired people.

We’ll use environment of Old Quebec to explain local history, architecture, urbanism and topography.

Unique characteristics of this guided tour

The size of the group will be smaller than usual. Ticket is free for companions (one companion per blind or visually impaired person). A companion ensure the safety of the accompanied person and actively contribute to the visit by describing what the accompanied person touches. Guide dogs are welcome. This tour is also available as private tour. Because touching monuments is exhausting, we’ll do several breaks during the tour.

    Low demand, low availability

There’s a very little demand for this Classic Tour. Contact us as soon as possible to see if we can add an availability for you.

This tour was made possible thanks to the Regroupement des Personnes Handicapées Visuelles Régions 03-12 invaluable help. We are happy to contribute to the accessibility of history and heritage to blind and visually impaired people.
