How to write a useful review for travellers ?
You could mention what you enjoyed the most with the guide and/or about the city. Fake reviews are a real issue, if you provide very specific information it will help other travellers to trust you.
Review of: Old Quebec : Winter Walking Tour
Xavier was a great tour guide. We had a fun two hours visiting many different sites and learning about history, culture and fascinating stories. Xavier was full of energy and it rubbed off on everyone. An excellent tour.

Review of: Old Quebec : Winter Walking Tour
Thoughtful, knowledgeable, entertaining and friendly. He even brought little heating pads for those A little unprepared. He knows his history and his passion for it is plain. Great English and French speaking skills, I recommend, especially if you’re a fan of history.

Xavier is an amazing guide! We learned a lot about the history of the city as well as about its culture and other useful and interesting facts, especially about winter in Quebec. It was one of the best walking tours I’ve taken, it was fun and interesting, dynamic and mindful of everybody’s needs. I would definitely recommend this tour to anybody visiting Quebec City, it’s just great!

Private walking tour in Old Quebec with Xavier
Review of: Old Quebec Private Walking Tour
I have taken Viators all over the world and I have to say that this was the best tour of all time. Since this was our first time in Old Quebec, in three hours, Xavier summarized the history of Canada and how it was affected by the relations with the First Nation peoples, the British, the Irish and the French. Xavier communicated with us before the tour so he understood that we wanted to learn about the history of Old Quebec; as well as showing us two churches that were converted to libraries and a tribute to teachers. Although we walked for three hours, he was willing to slow down the pace as we climbed the hills of Quebec. (We are from Illinois which is very flat.) He even took the time to take a few photographs of us in front of some historical sites. I would highly recommend this tour.

Learned so much in so little time!
Review of: Old Quebec Private Walking Tour
Xavier was a great guide. We learned more than we knew there was to learn about the history of Canada and Quebec City. Xavier had all kinds of interesting tidbits of knowledge about places throughout the city. I highly recommend this tour to get a good overview of Quebec - and a better appreciation for what it is today.

The unsung history of women in Quebec City
Review of: Old Quebec : Mesdames & Mesdemoiselles
Xavier is a very well informed guide, giving an intelligent and interesting history of the women who helped create this beautiful city. Many fascinating stories as we strolled through Old Quebec. I highly recommend this tour to all visitors ( women and men)

Could not have asked for a better guide to Old Quebec City!
Review of: Old Quebec Private Walking Tour
Xaivier was a fabulous guide! He personalizes his tours based on your interests and what you want to learn about. Our time with Xaivier provided a real depth of knowledge of Old Quebec City in a very short time. He is a talented narrator of the rich history of this city! Thank you again Xaivier for making our tour so meaningful, we appreciate the time and care you gave to us during our tour!

A tour that feels like a friend sharing his passion
Review of: Old Quebec : Mesdames & Mesdemoiselles
My husband booked this tour as part of a surprise anniversary adventure. The theme provided a wonderful change of pace. It is easy to forget that most history is told of and about men and that women are relegated to heroine, victim or seductress. This tour provided a nuanced and human portrait of both the women and men who founded Quebec and by extension the rest of Canada. Xavier is clearly following his passion and that should be rewarded. Best of fortunes as you build your business. We will be sure to book another tour on a return visit.

Our travellers originally wrote about our guided tours mostly on Google Review, Facebook, AirBnB and TripAdvisor.
Why are the reviews so good ? That’s because we only work with among the most experienced and skilled tour guides in Quebec City. That helps a lot. We also brief them about our standards and technics to provide high quality tours. Some of our public tours (Classic Tours) are unique, we worked hard on fascinating themes. Our Private Tours are always tailored and that’s essential to provide an exceptional experience. Finally, half of the success of a tour is the traveller himself and, so far, we got amazing travellers.
